1. About CleanDeal
CleanDeal is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent cleaning professionals in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. Cleaners are independent service providers, not employees of CleanDeal.
2. Accounts
- Eligibility (18+), accurate information, account security.
- Cleaner vetting: government ID verification and interview; CleanDeal may approve, reject or suspend accounts.
3. Bookings and price offers
- Listed rates, offers and counter-offers; limits on offer rounds and offer expiry.
- An accepted offer forms a booking at the agreed hourly rate.
- Extra hours require customer approval in the app.
4. Payments, fees and taxes
- Card saved at booking and charged after completion (or automatic confirmation after 24 hours).
- Customer booking fee; cleaner commission; HST charged by CleanDeal. All amounts in CAD.
- Payment processing by Stripe; failed payment handling.
5. Cancellations
Cancellation windows and late-cancellation fees for customers and cleaners, as shown at booking.
6. Reviews, messaging and conduct
- Two-way reviews; prohibited content.
- Keep communication and payment on the platform; contact details are masked in messages.
7. Disputes and refunds
Reporting window, review process and refunds at CleanDeal's discretion.
